With Thanksgiving only a couple of days away and Christmas a little over a month away, I though it was time to reveal our final list of plus size dresses we recommend full figured women look at, as options to wear during the holiday season.
If you follow the Plus Size Clothing Scoop, you will remember that in around mid October I released our preview list, which included the top 5 plus size Christmas holiday dresses I had our eye on. This was only the preview list, as it was a little too early to conclude things; I was sure our favorite plus size clothing stores still had more in store for us. And I was right! Our favorite stores brought out their holiday dresses and fashions. In fact the final list has been extended to list 10 plus size dresses which are perfect for the holidays! Some dresses have changed positions, some have stayed where they were, and others have been pushed out of the list by better options. Without further ado, I shall leave you to look at our chosen dresses.
1. Fiorella Lace Gown with Shrug in Red from IGIGI
Our true winner from IGIGI still holds the top spot! This gorgeous gown remains our top favourite dress to wear during the special Christmas holiday season. Colored perfectly in red, the lace make it look chic and warm at the same time. Beautiful stretch lace has an iridescent effect due to a contrasting lining. Details include a skirt that is flared from the knee due to a number of the sheer chiffon godets; empire waist is trimmed with a velvet panel. We love it and think it should be included in our top dresses for Christmas list because the beautiful lace gives, coupled with the original color give it a very Christmasy look. 3. 3/4 Sleeved Scalloped Boudoir Lace Dress from Kiyonna
A new entry, and a sure winner, in our top dresses list! This head turning dress, brought to us by the professionals at Kiyonna is simply exquisite. It deserved a mention in our recommendations for you. This beautiful, chic dress features nude lining which peeks through a delicate black lace overlay. It is infused with stretch for a figure flattering fit. The 3/4 length scalloped sleeves and a v-neckline are very feminine and add subtle sophistication. 4. Black and Tan Mesh Tube Dress from Torrid
Another new entry, which is a dress only recently added to the selection of dresses offered at Torrid. A fun, yet very chic black mesh tube dress features a flocked floral design and a tan under layer. The ruched body has an elastic top and the high low hem is punctuated with a layer of tulle beneath, making it a perfect party dress! 5. Dangerous Beauty Gown in Cobalt from IGIGI
Another beautiful gown from IGIGI which had already been included in our preview list, only this time it has dropped a couple of positions. I still had to include it in the final list as I love this dress, as I said previously, because of its simple sophisticated glamour. This gown evoked the essence of a seductive courtesan of the 17th century French court. Bare shoulders are adorned with the rows of dazzling rhinestone bands in a bra-friendly style, while provocatively plunging neckline showcases hand-made crystal ornament. 9. Black Sequin and Flower Print Satin Halter Dress from Torrid
Although I love vibrant colors, I could not help but fall in love with this black satin halter dress available from Torrid and feature it in our final list of top plus size holiday dresses.
