3 Plus Size Dress from SWAK Designs – A Review

A while back I purchased 3 lovely plus size dresses from SWAK Designs, and I wanted to show you how my experience ordering with SWAK Designs was, as well as show you how the dresses fit. I’ve been meaning to publish this video earlier, but had some problems with uploading it! But better late than never, so here is the first video of this review, which pretty much shows you how an actual package from SWAK Designs looks like, and also gives you a glimpse of the 3 dresses I bought. Other videos showing me actually wearing the dresses are coming up in the next few days.

Yesterday we took a look at some of my favorite plus size dresses from Kiyonna’s new Spring collection. Today, I wanted to take another look at these curvy Spring items, in particular taking a look at the tops within this collection. Violet Print Plus Size Wrap Dress Review

A while back the lovely people at SWAK Designs sent over some goodies to me, and over the coming days and week I will be reviewing these, to show you what you can expect out of SWAK Designs clothing. Today we’re taking a look at Violet Print Plus Size Wrap Dress, a dress added to their collection towards the end of last year. You can have a look at me wearing the dress by watching the video below. A comprehensive overview, and some more pics also follow after the video!
I love a lot of things about this dress, the style, the colors and the shimmery fabric, which give it a very glam look. you can dress this item down by matching it up with some boots and a cardigan, but I would rather prefer dressing it up with some funky accessories and either black or pink high heel pumps The faux wrap style is cute, although it might cause a bit of over exposure for ladies with a bigger bust.
The dress comes with a detachable belt. I am not much of a belt person, so I would opt not to wear it, especially because the fabric is really silky and the belt tends to slide up and down no matter which way to place it. Having said that I’m sure it would be easy to fasten the belt so that it won’t move to much. The fabric of the dress is very lightweight, so this piece will take you definitely into the warmer months. All in all I love this dress! It’s currently available at $54 and in sizes 1X to 6X.

Over 300 New Items at Jessica London

Jessica London have recently added over 300 new items to their online store, as part of their Spring Collection for 2010. They have added a variety of items from sweaters, to dresses, to tops and jackets, to skirts and much more. With over 300 new items, there’s definitely a lot to shop through. Though was definitely stands out most in their new collection are the fresh colors and the bold styling. Have a look at the video below from Plus Size Fashion TV, which goes through some of the new items at Jessica London, and also updates you on the new size guidelines.
As can be seen in the video, Jessica London have just announced some slight changes in their sizing. After listening to customer feedback, they have updated their sizing to better suit the plus size woman, and create a much more flattering look through Jessica London designs. A new size chart with guidelines of the new measurements has obviously been made available, so definitely check this out to update yourself with the changes.
