Top 10 Plus Size Christmas Holiday Dresses – 2011 List

With the Holiday season in full swing, I thought it fitting to release the Pasazz.net Top 10 List of Plus Size Christmas Dresses for 2011. I’ve searched high and low, and shopped around the holiday collections of your favorite plus size stores, to select what I think are the best 10 dress options.

These dresses are ideal for any Holiday party you have coming up (including New Year’s Eve do’s too!), and the list includes a mix of styles which should inspire curvy women with different tastes. 1. Betsey Ruched Dress by Kiyonna
I’ve been in awe of this dress ever since Kiyonna first launched in a few months back. Once the launched the ‘Maraschino Cherry’ version of this dress it made it the ideal party dress for the Holiday season. I love the style, and the ruching detail along the body of the dress – ruching is a very forgiving feature and helps hide any bumps you’d rather hide. The V-neckline adds a sexy touch to this dress, while the sleeves keep it elegant and chic. I simply adore this dress and am itching to get it myself! Metallic fabrics are all the rage this season, but so is lace, which makes the Leigh Lace Dress an ideal choice as it mixes these two trends in an impeccable way. If you want to steer clear of the usual holiday outfit colors such as red, and gold, then check out this lovely beaded cocktail dress from Jessica London ina lovely deep ocean color. It’s shirred and sraped style ensure it’s flattering to you figure, and the beading and sequin detailing on the cap sleeves add a touch of glam to a classic dress. It’s available in sizes 12 to 28.

7. Maxi Sateen Accordion Dress by Ashley Stewart
This gorgeous dress screams out glam! If features a surplice neckline and full length pleated skirt in a gorgeous shade of red which Ashley Stweart have aptly called Chilli Pepper, as it makes this dress skorching hot! It’s also available in black, but for the holiday I would definitely recommend the Chilli Pepper color! It’s available in sizes 12 to 26.

8. Charlotte Velvet & Lace Boatneck Cocktail Dress by Monif C
Monif C’s holiday collection this year, as always, does not fail to impress us. In fact most of her styles were runners up, but I though this specific style epitomizes the holiday season. Lux velvet size panels blend perfectly with a lace over metallic champagne center panel at the front and back. Simply stunning! This dress is available in sizes 14/16 and 22/24 – yes Monif C. styles sell out quickly ladies!

9. Puerta Del Sol by Shop Translated
Another lovely style ideal for those ladies who don’t want to opt for red, on any of the usualy Holiday colors. This gorgeous dress from Shop Translated features unique Spanish black lace over dark blue cobalt lining. The scalloped skirt makes it fun and the 1.5″ wide straps make it very convenient and bra friendly! Available in sizes 10/12 to 26/28.

10. Midi Dress by ASOS Curve
Another party perfect dress by ASOS Curves – this is a feminine and lightweight midi chiffon dress. It features a high neckline, ideal for those ladies who do not like V-necklines, a fitted bustier with ruching detail and a flowing skirt. This dress is full of lovely detail! Available in sizes 20 to 26.

Ok we’re going over the 10 dress mark now. I know the title says ‘Top 10′ but there were two addition dresses I simply had to include this year, so let’s treat these as two bonus dresses in our Holiday dress list!

11. Red Brocade Strap Dress by Torrid
This vintage inpired strap dress from Torrid is a fun option, which will appeal to the younger crowd as well. It features a luxe shimmery satin red fabric, a cute gem-accented broach and adjustable straps. You can easily wear this dress with a wide belt for a more trendy look, and with thick black tights to keep your legs warm. It’s available in sizes 12 to 26.

12. Sequin Shoulder Maxi Dress by Simply Be
