Summer will be over soon and for many of us, it seems to have passed by as no more than a blur. School will be starting again and the days with the kids will be gone again until next summer. However now that fall will soon be here so will tons of new fashion trends. Maybe on a recent trip to the mall, you saw some of the store mannequins rocking fabulous outfits and you can’t wait to see what the fall lines will have in store. There are going to be some awesome trends to keep an eye on this fall and if you want to know about these trends ahead of time, you have come to the right place.
Hot Looks for Fall
One of the hottest trends again this fall will be the sweater dress. The sweater dress is classy and comfortable all at the same time and not to mention, it looks awesome with some leggings. If you want some added style, you could always pair your adorable sweater dress and legging combo with some Frye boots. The look will look well put together and you will be so comfortable! Additionally, there are so many ways that you can dress up a sweater dress. Add a cute scarf for some added flair or a belt around your waist. One of the most popular color trends this fall will still be color blocking. Instead of neon colors, however, you can expect that you will be seeing darker colors, like rich plums or sapphire blues along with emerald greens. Fall is all about the jewel tones! Color blocking can include skirts, shirts and even dresses so if you like the chunky color blocked look, you will be a happy camper.
Other Trends
One of the most popular trends this fall, for many reasons, is the Union Jack flag and you can see it printed on everything! You will definitely want to show some British love and get a shirt or two with the Union Jack pattern on them. You may even find a cardigan with the print. You will want to have some neon pastel skinny jeans in your closet as well as some darker colored ones. If you get a pair of red skinnies, they will look awesome with your Union Jack shirt. Toss on a navy blue blazer or a cardigan and you will be set to hit the run way.
Fashion trends do change but you will see that as the years pass, they also tend to repeat themselves. What we are wearing today are probably trends that were popular when we were young or when our parents were. Now that you have some ideas about the fashion trends for this fall, you will know what to purchase when you go on your shopping trip and you will be looking trendy all season.
