Who is Kim Coles?

Kim Coles

Kim Coles, a very well known actress, comedian, author and host, was born on January 11th, 1962.

Kim has appeared on many television shows, including Frasier (where she became known for playing “Dr.” Mary Thomas), Six Feet Under, Celebrity Mole and The Geena Davis Show. She is perhaps best known for her roles on three FOX series; first as an original cast member of the sketch comedy series In Living Color, then as Synclaire James on the sitcom Living Single and as the mother of Spirit on One on One.

Kim Coles is also a published author; her book is called ‘I’m Free But It Will Cost You’.

Kim was a regular panelist on the 2000 revival of To Tell the Truth during its second season. She was also featured as a guest host on two episodes of The View. Coles was a co-host of the syndicated daytime television show In The Loop With iVillage alongside The Apprentice winner Bill Rancic and fellow season one contestant Ereka Vetrini. She has recently joined the cast of 10 Items or Less on TBS.

On September 30, 2009, she hosted the game show Pay It Off on BET, which is similar to Debt. In 2010, she will be on RuPaul’s “Drag Race”.

Kim has also just released a new program called G.I.F.T.S (Gratitude, Intention, Forgiveness, Triumphs, Self-Love), a project close to her heart through which she aims to help each and every one of us identify and express our own personal gifts, to live life out loud, experience greater joy and be more fulfilled as we share our gifts with the world.
