In this video, created by Capessa.com, we see Jessica Svoboda talking about her very own plus size fashion label SVOBODA. She speaks about why she created her clothing line, and about her frustrations at the lack of plus size clothing available to women in general. Very interesting video to watch, and I have to thank Jessica for creating her line. I think SVOBODA denim especially is of top notch quality and I absolutely love their denim skirts which fit me like a glove. Thank you Jessica for creating SVOBODA!

Today we’re taking a look at an awesome vlog put together by Aussie blogger Natalie from http://www.definatalie.com/. Earlier this year Natalie published a blog entry about self acceptance tips she discovered whilst reading the book ‘Lessons from the Fat-O-Sphere’ by Kate Harding. The post turned out to be immensely popular and well received, and so Natalie decided to put together this video to go through the 8 self acceptance tips! It’s a greatly motivating video. It’s only 9 minutes long, so take a short break and watch this video right away… you’ll thank me (and Natalie!) for it later.

Over the past couple of weeks I’ve posted about City Chic’s big plus size fashion show, which they put together at the Rosemount Sydney Fashion Festival, and which turned out to be a huge success. We’ve shown you an overview of what went on, some exclusive photos from the actual fashion show, and also spoke about how an Aussie plus size super model working in New York flew back to Sydney just for the show. Needless to say, it was a huge success.
